We will be leaving Northside Community Church at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 21, so please come before that so we can put identification on the luggage and sleeping bags.
IMPORTANT: Also, please bring a packed lunch to eat on the way there.
Please only pack as needed, as there will be limited space to store the luggage. Please no huge suitcases.
Things to remember to pack:
Sleeping Bag (A blanket and pillow will be provided)
Bible, pen
Toiletries (deodorant, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.)
Sun Screen
Bath towel and another towel for the pool
Tennis shoes
Extra money for snacks
Flashlight
Digital or Disposable Camera
Please Do Not Bring:
Cell Phones - There is no cell phone reception at camp.
Portable Video Games
Any audio devices (I pods, mp3 players, etc)
laptops
Tablets
Weapons (including, but not limited to Atomic Bombs, Tear Gas, Missiles, etc.
Illegal Drugs
Alcohol
How Parents can contact their son/daughter at Washington Family Ranch:
You can contact them by calling Washington Family Ranch at (541) 489-3100
You will either relay your message through a live person, or by leaving a detailed message, which will then reach your son/daughter as soon as possible.
How your son/daughter can contact you while at camp since there is no cell phone service:
Pay phones are available on site, but requires a pre-paid calling card. You can either send a pre-paid calling card with them, or one can be purchased there. We do not recommend bringing coins for the pay phones as those phone calls will be directed to collect calling, which can be expensive.
In cases of Emergencies:
Your son/daughter can use the Washington Family Ranch main office phone to get in contact with you or their specified emergency contact.
