Upcoming Series

Dear youth and parents:

I want to let you know about an upcoming series that we will be doing starting on January 8th, 2012, called "Pure Joy - God's Formula for Passionate Living".  This series will cover topics such as purity in the mind, emotions, spirit, body, and holiness. We also may have quest speakers come in and give testimonies.   If you have any questions, please feel free to E-mail or call me.  This series will then end with a formal banquet, on Friday, February 17th, 2012.  We will talk to you more about this banquet at a later date.  

We have done this series in the past with great fun and great results, and we look forward to what God is going to do this time.

Sky High Sports Event - April 2nd

Let's have a jumpin' time at Sky High Sports. This amazing place has wall to wall trampolines, where you can play dodge-ball, jump into a pit of foam and other amazing things. 

IMPORTANT: You must have an Ignite Middle School Medical Release Form and the Sky High Waiver to attend. You can get the Sky High Waiver from Paul or go to the website listed below.

When: Saturday, April 2nd, 2011 - We will leave the youth room at 5:45 pm and be back at the youth room at 9:00 pm.  

Cost: $10.

Letter to Parents and Students

Dear Middle School Parents and Students,

We sure do appreciate all of you! What a blessing you are to us. We hope this year has started out well for you and that you are seeing great things happening in your lives as are we.

We are excited to share with you some changes happening in our ministry. We have been offered and have accepted the position at Northside Community Church of Student Ministries Directors. We will be adding the leadership of the high school youth ministry at Northside to our existing responsibilities. Let us assure you that these additional responsibilities will not diminish our passion, call and investment to the middle school youth of Northside.

We appreciate your prayers as we enter into this new phase in ministry. Please know that you are free to contact us with any questions or concerns at any time. We are grateful that we get to be part of your lives!

The Stone of Israel - February 27th

We are now taking sign-ups for taking a trip to watch MCO's production of "The Stone of Israel"!!

What: A musical about Joseph, Pharoah and the Twelve Tribes of Israel
Where: Alpenrose Opera House, 6149 S.W. Shattuck Rd., Portland, OR
When: February 27th, leaving the youth room at 1:30 PM. To return by 6:30 PM.
Cost is $6.00.
We will buy you ice cream at Alpenrose.

We have limited tickets so make sure you sign-up, pay your $6.00 and make sure you have a medical release/consent form on file.
